life is pretty good

my family came up due to rita. i got my brother sister and her friend tickets to acl and it was pretty fun. I think my sister enjoyed it a lot. I really hope everyone that i like saw arcade fire. they were fucking awesome. bands should aspire to achieve something like they do. this performance was right up there with explosions, broken social scene, and radiohead.

i think by the third day i was suffering from mild heat exhaustion of some sort, but i'm almost all better now

shooting for the daily texan has been pretty awesome. Everyday I've worked, i've learned so much. the people there know so much about photography... and the ones i've dealt with have been extremely helpful. I've learned more about photography than anything else this semester. i hope it continues to be this awesome for the rest of the semester.

i'm still working on a good picture. ill post one when i stop sucking a lot.

if you went to acl i hope u went to bloc party, because they fucking rocked. they weren't too hot when i saw them at sxsw, but tonight they apologized quite well. hell yeah!
