the loneliest people are the ones that spoke the truth

the other day i was peeing and then as soon as stuff started to come out a bug started to bite me on my leg. i was totally helpless, and whilst peeing i could only think about what i was going to do to it when i was finished. I really had to pee, so it was quite sometime that it was biting me! As soon as i was done i swiped at my leg only to find the bug was gone! it appears that this particular bug has adapted to bathroom life and waits for me to pee and leaves before i can kill it. isn't that scary?

i've been playin soccer a lot with the international team. everyone is really good but they still let me play which is cool. i suck.

i really need to clean my lenses.

instead of going to this huge party i went to a nifty concert. undergroundhk.com. #23.
escorted by vincent a cool local dude.
first was very ape. japanese and they seemed like they would be good but i missed most of it.

next was luke chow. he was ok. voice was pleasant enough. all the songs were unfortunately the same. his last one had a few more hooks, being his standout song i suppose.

he brought in a female bassist cause his didnt show up. not saying she was bad, but she never did anything that any beginner couldn't have done.

next up was so what? a girl group with a couple of male ringers. they sang in mandarin. they were all actually pretty good. the drummer looked like a very nice mom who had just read her kids a story before putting them to bed and then caught the mtr to LKF!

she didnt do anything to catch my eye, but she did her job well enough.

the male guitarest was real real good.

the keyboardist also played the guitar. good musician i say.

the singer was pretty cool. she's from cali i had a decently long conversation with her after her set. she sang pretty well too.

last up was unixx. they were really good. look em up. just quality rocking i guess. good original sound.

this was my favorite photo of the nite its blurry but it appears that a lot of my photos are lately... this is probably bad but blurriness is starting to bother me less...

my photos suck. oh well i'm trying. this show was the first show i extensively used flash, and i was experimenting with the settings a lot. wish i had remembered to tone down the iso when i was using flash. the photos look a lot better at small size, but aren't too sharp otherwise, guess it was the iso. a lot was shot with the 50 1.8 dealing with the dof was tough... some with the 80-200 which with more energetic positioning would have done quite well i think. the 17-40 was also used quite a bit.
